Let’s take a break
Today is April Fool’s Day. So let us take a break from the Death by dementia series to catch up on some news and views.
As many of you know, the management of Today com has decided that having an Entrecard on your blog will no longer be allowed so as of April 5, I will be removing my Enrecard fom this blog. However I do have a blogspot blog called dementiatips My Entrecard is on there.
I am looking for suggestions on what to replace it with on this blog. Any ideas?

Funny, I still drop EC when I see it on Today’s blog..It’s sad not to see it here anymore!
Hi there, I took my EC widget off of my Today.com blogs but I still have my personal poetry blog on blogspot so I’ll still be using EC there. You know what you can do is go to the affiliate links on Today.com and find something you’d like to sell and replace your EC widget with that. That’s what I’ve done until I can figure out something else to do.
I’m having some luck with Twitter, but I’ve joined a couple of mom related networks that are helping a little, too. They certainly aren’t driving as much as Entrecard, but I think the quality of the traffic is a little better. Not quite so much drop and run.
You had asked me about 125 Exchange. I have gotten very little traffic for that. If you watch the widget, it seems rare that it actually flashes a blog site. It seems like most of it is self promotion. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong with it, and I leave it up because I don’t have to do anything with it (which could also be part of the problem).
I kind of like the Slogbite network, but be sure to let me know if you have any success with anything.
I use slogbite, mybloglog and blogcatalog. You might find them helpful.
