Caregivers soul, just wonderful

All caregivers take on a tremendous task.Often this job was not anticipated. Thus caregivers need to often make major changes in their life to care for a loved one with a myriad of problems.

Caring for a person with dementia can be extremely challenging especially as the disease progresses. It can also be difficult if the person with dementia has some hard to handle behaviors.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank these caregivers for all the hardwork they do. I always write an article discussing some of their day to day challenges around Labor Day, but once a year is not enough.

I think we all have to take dementia seriously even if it does not affect you or your family right now.

Read the statistics. The numbers of those getting dementia is ever increasing. A cure is not on the horizon.

Yes there is promising research. However, right now that is all it is

So once again, CAREGIVERS-
THANK YOU
