More reasons to calm with music

Why not get this DVD. Even though it is not the original show, it does offer plenty of familiar music that a person with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia will enjoy watching imdependently, in a group or with a loved one or caregiver. There is a familiarity to it that gives a person wirh dementia, comfort. You will find that those with dementia will sing along with the songs recognizable to them. Watch this and put everyone in a good mood.

Besides more research is being reported that music not only taps into long term memory, but it also is very closely tied to a person’s emotions. In case you do not remember emotions are the last thing folks with dementia lose.
