How to stick to NewYear’s resolutions(part 13)

In the continuation in the discussion of New Year’s resolution which fight the development of the terrible mind robbing diseases, Alzheimer’s and related dementias, we move into more healthy foods you should eat.

However before we do, let me reveal the sixth exercise you can do and not even know you are exercising.
It is going on a picnic. Not just an ordinary picnic, but one where you packed healthy foods to eat. Key to the exercise success of this picnic,  is having to walk a bit of a distance to get there and get back.

I know if the weather is bad, you might have to make it an indoor picnic. So make sure you do some walking before and after you eat.

Besides healthy fruits and vegatables, what should you eat. We talked about eating whole grains. Whole grains are good because they still have their vitamins and minerals intact. Plus they provide a good source of fiber.

But what else?

By Susan Berg author of Adorable Photographs of Our Baby-Meaningful Mind Stimulating Activities and More for the Memory Challenged, Their Loved Ones and Involved Professionals a book for those with dementia and an excellent resource for caregivers and healthcare professionals.
