How to stick to New Year’s resolutions(part 5)

We were discussing getting exercise as a New Year’s resolution.
I said exercising was important because it helps stave off dementia as well as other reasons.

I am now going to suggest other exercises that you can do besides jumping.
Lets assume that you want to keep it simple. Another simple thing you can do is go for a walk. You want to go at a pretty good pace. However again do not over do it. Start slow.

If the weather is inclement, take a walk in your house.
If you have stairs, walk up and down them a few times.

Hee is one that is multifunctional- Clean your house. Chores such as sweeping and vacuuming provide plenty of exercise. Although cleaning your house is not a  lot of fun unless you make it fun. Put on some music with a beat.

If you don’t want to clean, how about dancing?

We could go on and on. The main thing is to stick to a program. Tomorrow, stategies on how to do that. It does not have to be fancyor even a recognized dance move. The important thing is moving. Use your imagination.

As always, make sure to leave your comments and questions
