How to stick to New Year’s resolutions(part 4)
Exercising is the New Year’s resolution we were discussing. Exercise is important for many reasons. One important one, is decreasing your chances of getting Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia..
I was asking how are you going to stick to the plan of exercising for 10 minutes one day a week. What else is fun besides jumping rope? Just jumping without the rope is good. See how high you can jump . See how far you can jump. See how many times you can jump in a row. You will find the number will increase as your exercise plan becomes part of your routine.
Yes, make execise a habit. It is said that if you do something at least seven times, it becomes a habit. So for the next seven weeks, exercise at least once during that week, preferably at the same time. Exercising more than once a week is better.
However, do not over do it. Nothing puts the kybosh on an exercise plan faster than an injury.
What other exercises are there? I am sure you know some. I will make some more suggestions next time
