How to have a safe Christmas tree for those with dementia(part 8)

We will talking about some simple ways to make garland for the tree. This is an ideal activity for those with dementia.

Continuing from where we left off  Then glue, using non-toxic glue, one strip together so it looks like a circle. Put the next strip through the circle. Then glue that circle together. Continue in this fashion until you have a chain of the desired length. Alternately, you can scrunch 5 inch by 10 inch pieces of aluminum foil. Then make them into circles by scrunching the two ends together  Another idea is to make garland using a combination of paper and aluminum foil.

Tomorrow, the tree when the traditional tree is not safe.

As always, make sure to leave your comments and questions
