How to have a safe Christmas tree for those with dementia(part 6)
Today, we will go back to the discussion of how to make the Christnas tree ornaments a bit more festive if there are no safety issues with the dementia audience.
As I said you can paste the large colorful picture cut from the Christmas card on a red piece of poster board cut in a holiday shape such as: a circle or diamond. You can add some glitter to the card or the poster board. You could also put holiday stickers on the poster board.
In addition, you can add extra ribbons.
Instead of using Christmas cards as ornaments,you can use copies of old photos, pictures of children or pictures of babies. People with dementia love babies.
