How to have a safe Christmas tree for those with dementia(part 3)
You have determined that traditional Christmas tree decorations are not safe for your loved one or client with dementia.
I have seen and heard about some not too happy experiences where a person with dementia tried to eat the ornaments on a tree. That is why it is better to be safe than sorry.
The first decoration you and your friend with dementia can make which is safe even if he or she tries to eat it unless they are on a strict or restricted diet is play dough type decorations.
