How to make sense of oxidative stress and dementia(part 8)
How many foods with anti-oxidants do you need to stave of Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias, as well as, other diseases
It is recommended that you eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each and every day. True not all fruits and vegetables are rich in anti-oxidants. Thus eat five of the ones that are high in anti-oxidants. Then you can eat other vegetables if you so choose. I suggested which fruits were high in anti-oxidants by name in yesterday’s post.
Highest-ranking vegetables in anti-oxidants include: broccoli, beets, red peppers, carrots, tomatoes spinach, kale and brussel sprouts.
Tomorrow some things to look out for when you take supplements rather than eat good anti-oxidant sources.
