How to make sense of oxidative stress and dementia(part 4)
So what does this all mean?
What can we do without the help of any drugs?
To recap, combating oxidative stress which leads to free radicals which cause damage to brain cells, is a high priority. This process could lead to Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias and other diseases.
The body tries to fight oxidative stress by making as many anti-oxidants as possible. The anti-oxidants neutralize free radicals that can harm our cells.
Some of us produce more anti-oxidants than others. The reasons were mentioned in a previous post. No matter what, generally speaking, your body does not produce enough anti-oxidants…..
