What can we do about decreasing dementia?

Published by alzheimersideas at 10:36 am under alzheimer's disease, dementia Edit This

How can we educate the public, especially the elderly, about preventing dementia in themselves and loved ones?

Once you turn 65, your chances of getting dementia increase greatly. This puts you at greater risk and there is nothing you can do about getting older.

There is something you can do about the other risk factors, however.

The trick is to get people to listen and then to act.

I am doing my part by telling the story. I am hopeful that at least one person’s interest will be peaked and he or she will act and do the right things for himself or herself and for society as a whole

Your input please.
