Activities that can be done with those who have Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
There are many activities that can be done with those who have Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
Have a snack and beverage with them. Talk about the food you are sharing
Give them a hand massage or encourage them to rub some fragrant lotion into their hands. Have a conversation while you are doing this.
There are appropriate TV WATCHING Anytime Programs about animals and game shows are good
Look at a magazine or newspaper together. Have a talk about the contents or about something the article or picture reminds them of
Ask them trivia questions about their favorite subject or about a familiar topic.
